This is a beautiful Rose-cut white diamond with three 1.5mm brilliant cut white diamonds set on each shoulder on a hand carved Laurel leaf design band.
Rose-cut is an historical way to cut diamonds dating back to the 1400s, they are a different shape to the more usual modern cut, flat on the bottom with a faceted dome which resembles an opening rosebud.
In ancient times the evergreen laurel was considered a sacred plant.
In the classical world it was a symbol of strength, glory and prosperity more generally it represents poetry, peace and spiritual wisdom.
This ring will be entirely handmade by our experienced mounter here in London, which means that every ring is unique.
